This project involved the conversion and refurbishment of the former Glenroy Primary School into a multi-purpose community facility designed to support a broad range of local programs and community activities. Delivered for the City of Moreland, the works focused on revitalising the existing school buildings while adapting the spaces to meet contemporary community use requirements.

Careful consideration was given to preserving and integrating elements of the existing structure, ensuring the redevelopment maintained a connection to the site’s history and community significance while improving functionality, accessibility, and long-term usability.

The refurbishment included upgrades to internal spaces, amenities, and shared community areas, creating flexible environments capable of accommodating a variety of users and activities. Construction works were carefully coordinated within the existing building footprint to achieve a cohesive and practical outcome.

The completed development delivers a revitalised civic asset that extends the life of the former school site, providing a welcoming and functional community hub for the Glenroy area.
